Morning update

5:15 a,m.
Stephen had an "OK" night. He is such a good patient, even though he has a fever, is itchy and his pain is somewhat controlled with a pump. He has been asking for me to tell him again about what happened. He was very upset last night when the doctors told him and is disappointed and worried about Alison but I keep telling him that we are so grateful that he is "OK". We are so very proud of him, he is still our hero-what an amazing son we have. Alison is very worried about her brother, feeling guilty that he is going through this. As always, keep them both in your prayers.
Love, Karen

  1. Karen ... good to see a post so early. You are all just so amazing. I can't even begin to imagine what you all have been going through, and continue to endure. Please know that we are thinking of all of you constantly, and our prayers continue to be with you. Thanks for keeping all of us posted. All our love - Ina & Rudy

  2. Karen, I feel so badly for both Steven and Alison. I will keep all of you in my prayers today and tonight at our seder, we will say a special prayer that we say for G-d to help the sick. Today at 6:15 AM(here) Jews around the world watched the sun rise and said a special blessing. We believe that this is the same time & location of Day 4 in the Bible when G-d created the sun. Let it shine on your family!

Glad to hear Stephen is doing ok...know this was a big disappointment for the family. Your strength as a family will pull you through. We know God has a better plan...there will be a donor for Alison. We send our love and prayers. Thank you for keeping us all posted.

    Love,
